Throughout their conversation, she assumed they were fans showing appreciation for her comedy, only to find herself being taken to CPS in a Subaru.

After spending a night there, she was ultimately rescued by her colleagues, including Hannington Bugingo. Kansiime explained that this man had her arrested because of the rent he paid for his girlfriend, who was residing with Mama Selassie.

She mentioned that her friend had been kicked out of her home, but since Karanja wanted to keep seeing her, he covered her rent to the tune of Shs500k, which also included Kansiime’s share.

Unfortunately, the girlfriend later broke up with him and left town. Subsequently, Karanja sought to reclaim his money from Kansiime, but she firmly told him that she had already paid the rent with the funds he had given her.

However, he dismissed her explanation as he was determined to get his money back. Kansiime added that she had just secured the Mini Buzz job and was trying to become financially stable. The man mistakenly believed she had money and wanted to take advantage of her.

Moreover, she remarked that she left jail feeling unwell. This experience is one of the reasons she remains humble, despite being fiery in personality. She does her best to steer clear of prison, as it could signify the end of her career. Kansiime also wished for the man’s good health so he could witness her success.
