• Haruna Mubiru, a respected veteran in Uganda’s music industry, has publicly invited Bobi Wine to his H&M Restaurant located in Makindye.
  • Haruna emphasized that Bobi Wine, who often prays at nearby St. Agnes Church, would not only boost the restaurant’s profile but also display solidarity with fellow artists, especially after being accused of sidelining the entertainment industry.

Veteran musician turned entrepreneur, Hajji Haruna Mubiru, has reached out to fellow artist and politician Bobi Wine, asking him to drop by his restaurant for a meal. Haruna owns H&M Restaurant located in Makindye.

The former member of Eagles Production believes that if Bobi Wine visited, it would help mend many hearts. Haruna noted that the NUP leader often prays at the nearby St. Agnes Church, making a visit with his team beneficial not only for Haruna and the local community but also for Bobi Wine himself.

The Kifa Nsalira singer mentioned that Bobi Wine has faced accusations of undermining the music industry, and such an act could demonstrate unity. He also welcomed Bobi Wine to dine at Mesach Ssemakula’s Papa’s Spot, which is close by.

“I’m urging President Bobi Wine to find a day to come to H&M for a meal. This would mean a lot to me and would also help heal many people in the area. Additionally, it would demonstrate solidarity between him and musicians, as he has often been criticized for being against musicians,” said Haruna.

He further expressed that he has never received an invitation to Bobi Wine’s home, especially during the singer’s luncheons for fellow artists.

Meanwhile, many online critics dismissed Haruna’s proposal, arguing that they can’t allow their leader to dine everywhere due to potential risks.
