• Mun G has declared himself unbeatable in any Ugandan music battle, saying performance is key and only the late Mowzey Radio or Dr. Jose Chameleone could have been worthy challengers.
  • The “Namalayo” hitmaker, boasting 35 hit songs, dismissed competition from both emerging and established artists, including Bebe Cool, though he invited him to his upcoming concert.

Local rapper Mun G has expressed his belief that no Ugandan musician can compete with him in a battle or versus format. The former Baboon Forest member stated that since a versus relies heavily on performance, he feels confident that no one can match his extensive catalog.

The “Namalayo” artist, who is gearing up for his concert, mentioned that he has recently discovered he has around 35 hit songs. He feels that the only artist who could have challenged him is the late Mowzey Radio.

Although Mun G was somewhat reluctant to fully acknowledge Dr. Jose Chameleone, he mentioned that the Leone Island chief does have popular songs but believes they are on a similar level.

Moreover, he stated that apart from these two artists, he is convinced that no other musician, whether emerging or established, could defeat him in such a showdown.

“There isn’t any Ugandan artist who can outdo me in a versus. Keep in mind that a battle is primarily about performance. The only artist I think could have truly challenged me is the late Mowzey Radio. Maybe Chameleone can too, since he has hits, but I think we could go head to head.”

“I’ve recently realized that I own around 35 hit tracks and can select just 20 to compete with anyone. However, aside from those two, I firmly believe that no one else can confront me and win,” Mun G asserted.

When asked about Bebe Cool, he brushed off the Gagamel leader, saying that, although he respects and admires him, he is confident he can triumph over him.

Mun G emphasized that his statements are not intended as disrespect toward any artist, but are simply stating the truth, before extending an invitation to the “Love You Everyday” singer for his concert, which Bebe Cool has promised to attend.

Mun G also commended Bebe Cool, especially noting his “Break The Chains” album, which is currently being promoted in the UK. The rapper remarked that there is much to learn in the industry and praised Bebe Cool for taking on that challenge.
