Put together by his own label, Awesome Entertainment, the concert is set for the 1st of November. Fans are eagerly anticipating the event as they look forward to enjoying performances from the ‘My Rules’ artist.

His previous concert was held last year in May at Lugogo Cricket Oval, which achieved record-breaking attendance and opened doors for other regional artists like T-Paul, whose recent concert was a hit, and Omega 256, who is preparing for her show at the same venue next month.

Since that last performance, Ray G has maintained a steady rise in popularity, releasing numerous hits that have reached audiences beyond Uganda, including Rwanda.

He recently launched an EP titled Checkmate, featuring collaborations with artists like Rwanda’s Bruce Melody and Swangz Avenue’s Elijah Kitaka.

Nonetheless, there are worries regarding the venue from sports enthusiasts, particularly football fans. Kakyeka Stadium is home to Mbarara City FC and various sports development initiatives in the region, leading to concerns that the concert-goers may damage the pitch’s grass.
