Prime Minister Rt. Hon Robinah Nabbanja has called upon the MP of Nyendo-Mukungwe Hon. Mathias Mpuuga to join forces with the NRM so that they can deliver quality services to the people of his area. The Prime Minister made the remarks during a fundraiser held at St Joseph’s Catholic Church in Nyendo, Masaka City.

Nabbanja said that the MP shouldn’t think about running for the Presidency because he won’t get any votes as she rallied the audience not to vote him. She however campaigned for him if he decides to return for the parliamentary seat of the constituency.
The woman MP of Kakumiro District also took the opportunity to campaign for her party president, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni noting the different infrastructure in the area that the ruling government has delivered.
“Mpuuga I’m calling upon you to make an alliance with the NRM like how we have one with DP so that we can serve the people. Please people of Masaka don’t give him even one vote if he runs for the presidency. But if he comes for the same seat he’s currently occupying, please vote him overwhelmingly,” said Nabbanja.

Instead he called upon everyone to contribute towards raising funds to build this church. He noted that the current structures are dilapidated and therefore a responsibility for everyone who prays from there to help in setting up a new structure.
Mpuuga himself contributed 5m Shillings, Nabbanja 10m shillings while President Museveni contributed 20m Shillings.
