Frank Gashumba has provided a surprising update about his newly born child with wife Malaika Mutoni. People have been congratulating the socio-political commentator but he said that the news are not new as the baby was born on 11th August.

Gashumba revealed why he never announced the news right away before cautioning people to learn how to keep their family and private matters out of social media. He said that the platforms are unregulated and full of all kinds of weirdos.

Therefore it’s only the likes of him who have thick skin that can withstand it. He cited an example of President Museveni’s grandkids who have just started getting known yet some are even over 25 years of age.

“Let me tell you something surprising, that child was born about a month ago, I think on August 11th. So it’s not new to me but I had decided to keep it under wraps. People should learn to refrain sharing the details of their personal lifestyle on social media. These platforms are unregulated and have all kinds of people with different behaviors. Only people like me that have thick skin can manage it. Take an example of President Museveni, we have only started knowing about his grand kids when some of them are over 25 years,” he said.

For a man that has been in the limelight for long with every minor detail of his, from businesses, criticism, praise, children, women, opinions, misdemeanors all being public linen, this has caught many people by surprise.

Nonetheless, this is a very big step for him and his newly formed family. Hopefully they will get to welcome many more kids.
