UNMF to launch Yoweri Music Album in grand celebration

The Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF), together with producers and songwriters associations from across the country, is set to launch the Yoweri Music Album.

The event, scheduled for 27th September 2025 at the Rwenzori Convention Center, Speke Resort Munyonyo, promises to be a landmark moment for Uganda’s creative industry.

The ceremony will be graced by H.E. Gen. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni as the Chief Guest. According to organizers, the occasion is more than just an album launch—it will serve as a historic celebration of unity, creativity, and the long-standing support between the President and Uganda’s music sector.

The Yoweri Music Album features contributions from artists across the nation, blending diverse voices and talents to tell the story of Uganda’s creative journey.

It highlights the growth of the industry under what UNMF describes as visionary leadership, while also reinforcing the role of music as a tool for patriotism and national pride.

“This is a cultural milestone designed to inspire, showcase our immense talent, and remind us of music’s power to bring people together,” UNMF noted in a statement.

The launch is expected to attract key players in the entertainment sector, government officials, and fans eager to witness what is being billed as one of the most important cultural celebrations of the year.
