- Eddy Kenzo dismisses rumors of a fallout with Bebe Cool, calling them false and divisive.
- The singer says both remain loyal to President Museveni’s NRM re-election campaign.
- Kenzo praises record crowds and urges inclusion of regional artists in the campaign.
Singer Eddy Kenzo has revealed that he has no problem with fellow musician Bebe Cool, despite circulating rumors suggesting otherwise. This follows ongoing reports linking the two stars to disagreements over NRM campaign funds.
Word had been making rounds that the two heavyweight artists had fallen out after claims emerged that Kenzo had allegedly “decampaigned” Bebe Cool to President Museveni, resulting in the Gagamel boss being dropped as head of the NRM entertainment team.

However, according to the Big Talent CEO, there is no rift between them. Kenzo clarified that both he and Bebe Cool are ardent supporters of the NRM candidate and are working toward the same goal — seeing the President re-elected.
“These rumors are being spread by haters who want to create conflict where there is peace,” Kenzo said, labeling the rumor-mongers as opportunists.

When asked why the number of musicians participating in this campaign seems smaller compared to previous ones, Kenzo explained that such decisions are not his responsibility.
It should be noted that this campaign has largely featured Eddy Kenzo, Gravity Omutujju, Lil Pazo, and Catherine Kusasira, unlike the previous campaigns that included Bebe Cool, Dr. Jose Chameleone, and Weasel Manizo, among others.
“That’s not my job to determine,” Kenzo said. “Before I even perform, I always talk to Bebe Cool because he is responsible for coordination together with the NRM Secretariat.”
Kenzo added that his main contribution to the entertainment team was advising them to give regional artists more opportunities, as they often complained about being sidelined by central-based musicians.
He further expressed his amazement at the massive public turnouts during the campaign, noting that many venues have been too small to accommodate the enthusiastic crowds.
“This campaign has really surprised me. The numbers are huge, and people have made the cause their own,” he said, praising the strong public support for the President’s ninth-term bid.
