This Sunday, all roads lead to the Hockey Grounds in Lugogo as Roast and Rhyme returns with one of its most anticipated editions yet the Soul on Strings edition.

The event, organized by Swangz Avenue, promises a perfect blend of music, meat, and chill, creating the ultimate Sunday escape for city dwellers looking to unwind and connect.
This edition will spotlight Uganda’s top RnB and soul DJs, including DJ Heydez, Eyo Mackus, Nelly Sting, Nelly Deejay, and DJ Shan, all known for their signature mixes and mastery of the decks. Adding a special touch to the day’s soundscape is Happy Kyazze, one of Uganda’s most talented saxophonists, whose live performances always leave audiences enchanted. Together, they’ll curate an emotional, groovy, and nostalgic experience the kind that takes you back to your favorite love songs and timeless classics.
Beyond the music, Roast and Rhyme continues to deliver what fans have come to love a premium outdoor experience. This year’s setup will feature lush picnic spaces, vibrant food and drink stalls, and a range of meat vendors including Mlinza Farms, known for their mouth-watering rabbit, goat, turkey, and beef delicacies.
