Socialite and businesswoman Prima Kardashi has advised young girls not to rush into renting or cohabiting with men, saying it often leads to unnecessary struggles and regret.

Speaking in a candid message shared online, the mother of two said many girls make the mistake of leaving their parents’ homes too early, only to face tough realities of rent and bills they cannot afford.
“I wouldn’t advise a young gal to leave her home to go and rent or cohabit with a man,” Prima said. “If at your home they still buy you food, your mother can give you 20k, they pay the house and you sleep with all bills cleared… where are you rushing to? Stay home.”
She noted that while it’s understandable for boys to move out and start life early, girls should take their time and avoid rushing into independence they can’t sustain.

“For a boy, it’s okay to leave home because they have to start a life, but for a girl, I wouldn’t advise it,” she added. “A man will even not respect you if he pays your rent — let him marry you instead.”
Prima warned that financial pressures from renting can lead some young women into dangerous situations.
“Do you know that a man can even sleep with you just to buy you lunch because you’re at the wall financially? A man respects you more if you’re at your parents’ home,” she said. “Electricity bills, rent, and losses can all tempt you into doing things you regret.”
She concluded by encouraging young women to appreciate the support they get from their families and avoid comparing themselves to friends who rent.
“Renting is full of problems,” Prima emphasized. “You might see your friend renting and think it’s easy, but it’s hard even if it’s 100k. At 21 or 20, you run out of home to rent because they told you to stop coming home late, and when the month ends without the 300k — it’s your private parts that will suffer. Rent taught me how to save.”
