• Betty Mpologoma says she is “single and searching,” denying romance rumors with Dr. Tee.
  • She confirms her sister Phoebe Nassolo has been forgiven after the cattle theft saga.
  • The singer plans to replace her mother’s stolen cows using money earned from her UK trip.

Veteran singer Betty Mpologoma has finally opened up about her relationship status and recent family drama.

While appearing on Spark TV, the Teli Police hitmaker revealed that she has been vacationing in the United Kingdom, enjoying some downtime and “having a good time.”

Speaking about her love life, Mpologoma cheekily admitted that she is “single and searching,” before being reminded of ongoing rumors linking her to fellow veteran gospel artist Dr. Tee (Travis Kazibwe).

The singer, however, clarified that Dr. Tee is simply her boss, emphasizing that their connection is purely professional despite public speculation over the years. For more than two decades, fans have romantically linked the two musicians, but Mpologoma insists there’s nothing more than music between them.

Mpologoma also addressed her recent fallout with her elder sister, singer Phoebe Nassolo, who was jailed months ago over allegations of conspiring with relatives and thieves to steal 11 of their mother’s cows.

After her release, Nassolo reportedly vowed to sue Mpologoma for damaging her reputation. However, the Londa Enumbera Yo singer said the family has since resolved the matter peacefully, though she faulted her sister for “blowing things out of proportion.”

Mpologoma further revealed that she plans to replace the stolen cattle using money she brought back from the UK, saying she wants to make her mother happy again. She, however, condemned the entire incident as unfortunate and avoidable.
