Blogger and influencer Ray Supasta, real name Paddy Kitayimbwa, is currently in a coma and on life support in Toronto, Canada after suffering heart failure. Ray, who relocated to Canada in May last year in search of greener pastures, is now battling for his life at Brampton Civic Hospital.

According to his close friend and travel agent Hady Sengo Haliwell, who organized Ray’s move to Canada, the situation is critical and requires everyone’s prayers.

We have learned from sources that Ray has been struggling with a heart condition known as arrhythmia (sometimes spelled rhythmia), which refers to irregular heartbeats.

Arrhythmias occur when the electrical signals that coordinate the heart’s beats don’t work properly, causing the heart to beat too fast, too slow, or irregularly. While some arrhythmias are harmless, others can be life-threatening if left untreated, potentially leading to stroke, heart failure, or cardiac arrest.

Ray was reportedly scheduled to undergo surgery to address this condition before it worsened. However, due to delays, his health deteriorated to the point where he is now in a coma, reliant on oxygen and life-support machines.

Doctors have indicated that if Ray recovers, he may need to have a pacemaker implanted to regulate his heart rhythm and prevent future complications.

Ray Supasta rose to online fame as a blogger and influencer on Facebook, where he gained a following for his entertainment updates. He worked alongside Ashburg Kato before Kato transitioned into politics, while Ray stayed focused on entertainment content. After moving to Canada in May last year, Ray had been working toward building a new life, and this month would have marked his one-year anniversary abroad.
