Joe Malaika is continuing to reshape the global fashion scene by putting inclusion at the center of the runway. Known for creating the world’s first all–amputee model lineup, the visionary designer is once again pushing boundaries by featuring models with Down syndrome, short stature, and diverse life experiences.
At his latest showcase, the 11th edition of Excessive Fashion, Malaika spotlighted inspiring personalities such as Randy Adams, a dedicated U.S. Army veteran of more than 20 years, and Fats Timbo, a talented London-based creative with short stature. Each model brought their own story, proving that fashion is strongest when every voice is represented.

Held in Boston, the show was a vibrant celebration of style and purpose. Guests embraced the red-and-black dress code and were treated to premium gift bags featuring items from Creed perfumes, Goodnow Farms chocolate, and more. Beyond the glamour, the event carried a deeper mission: proceeds went to the Joe Malaika Foundation, which supports amputees by providing adaptive equipment and empowerment programs.
With another successful edition in the books, attention now turns to what’s next. Could Kampala be the next stop? Fashion lovers are eagerly watching to see where Joe Malaika takes his inclusive vision next.
