Musician Ceaserous has recalled the tragic loss of his mother and how deep it hit him. The singer during an interview with Mr. Henrie on Galaxy TV’s Deep Talk, said that he got the news of his mother’s death on his way to Mbarara where he had a performance.

Ceaserous says that he was told via a phone call and he froze. He thought of cancelling the show but opted to go ahead and sing. At the same time, he had another show in Kitgum which the promoter even opted to let him cancel but he objected and decided to do it.

The Dangerous singer added that he recalled something his mother had once told him. This was never to cancel a job he had because of death. She advised him to always do the job first and then attend to the death news later emphasizing to him that even if it was her.

“I got a phone call informing me of my mother’s death when I was in Mbarara for a show. I was utterly devastated and almost cancelled the show but my die-hard fans were there for me. Another show had been been lined up in Kitgum and the promoter even gave me the chance to abscond it. However, I recalled my mother’s words telling me to never cancel a predetermined job because of a death announcement. She said that even if it was her, I should first do the job and attend to the death after,” he said.

Ceaserous says that he went and performed but luckily for him, the fans sang all the songs from start to end. He said that this is a memory that will forever be endeared to him.

Furthermore, the singer said that his mother’s death really affected him because it happened when he was still young, around 23 years.

She was his rock for comfort, he could literally tell her anything and she would pray for and encourage him to not be afraid. All of a sudden that pillar was gone but he said that he’s thankful that his die-hard fans were there for him in this trying time because he never resorted to abusing drugs at any one time.
