- Eddy Kenzo accuses Bebe Cool of sabotaging his performances at Museveni’s campaign rallies.
- Claims include sound failures, microphones going off, and Bebe Cool’s media team intentionally refusing to film him.
- Kenzo says he holds no personal grudge but warns the feud undermines their candidate’s image.
Musician Eddy Kenzo has come out to accuse fellow singer Bebe Cool of trying to sabotage his presence and performances at President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s ongoing campaign rallies. The two artists have been locked in a cold war ever since the campaign trail kicked off, each allegedly feeling the other is trying to “steal the spotlight” and appear as the face of the entertainment wing on the President’s team.

Speaking to the press in Kazo, where the President addressed supporters today, Kenzo responded to questions about a dramatic incident that took place a day earlier in Isingiro. He said the disruptions were not accidental but orchestrated.
“Whenever I’m stepping on stage, suddenly the sound system goes off, microphones stop working, and Bebe Cool’s media team stops filming and walks away. They are doing all this on his direct orders,” Kenzo said.
According to the Big Talent boss, this has happened repeatedly, and he believes Bebe Cool’s camp is intentionally undermining his participation. He further alleged that the same team has been targeting him online, publishing negative content about him throughout the campaign period.

However, Kenzo insisted that he personally holds no grudge, emphasizing that their main focus should be ensuring President Museveni’s re-election.
He added that he has instructed his own team to work with everyone because the mission is bigger than personal differences.
Kenzo also noted that conflicts among people are not new: “People have been fighting since the beginning of the world, and they’re still fighting even today. So this is not news.”
It remains unclear how long the tension between the two celebrated artists will continue. What is evident is that their public feud does not paint a unified picture for the candidate they are both working to promote.
