• Eddy Kenzo claims King Saha is a registered member of the Uganda National Musicians Federation SACCO.
  • The “Muliranwa” singer allegedly received funds from the SACCO despite publicly denying association with Kenzo’s federation.
  • Kenzo says many artists, including Ziza Bafana, have benefited from UNMF but deny it for political reasons.

Singer and president of the Uganda National Musicians Federation, UNMF, Eddy Kenzo has come out to claim and affirm how fellow musician, King Saha is a member of the Federation’s SACCO. It should be noted that the Muliranwa singer vehemently denied being a part and parcel of Kenzo’s projects all largely due to politics.

Kenzo’s federation has largely been rejected and renounced by several musicians who identify with Bobi Wine’s NUP as they view it as part of the NRM and President Museveni’s gateway into controlling musicians. But according to the Nice and Lovely singer, Saha is a registered member and has previously been a beneficiary.

The Big Talent boss added that it’s Saha’s right to be a member and the door is always open for him to come and pick more money if he wants to.

“I’m telling you this in total honesty that King Saha is a member of the Federation’s SACCO. He has previously gotten money and we are open to him accessing more if he wants it. It’s his right because this is for all musicians,” he said.

The singer added that some people just speak just for the public in order to fet plaudits yet the reality is different which they also know. And this is the case with the former Leone Island protege. Apparently, Saha if true wouldn’t be the first singer to chew UNMF’s money and then deny it.

Other musicians such as Ziza Bafana among others have all reportedly obtained the money yet come out to deny it publicly.
