Singer and president of the Uganda National Musicians Federation, UNMF, Eddy Kenzo has revealed why he has never taken the initiative to fight for Bobi Wine’s freedom to get back in stage. It’s important to note that the government under President Museveni a few years ago froze the self styled ghetto gladiator from holding any shows in the country.
They accused him of decampaigning Uganda whenever he goes abroad and yet he wants to earn money through his concerts in the same country he claims to be under siege.
During an appearance on BBS Terefayina, Kenzo was questioned whether he’s ever asked President Museveni to lift the ban off the NUP/Firebase boss.
Kenzo said that he’s not naive to that extent of telling Museveni to be kind to the ‘dog that wants to bite him.’ The Big Talent boss said that on several occasions, whenever Bobi Wine stepped on stage, he would use it as an opportunity to decampaign Museveni.

Therefore there’s no way he would ask the President to let Bobi Wine loose to use the only bullet he has to dislodge Museveni from power.
I have never asked or advised President Museveni to lift the performance ban off Bobi Wine. How can I even start to ask him to let the man who is threatening to remove him from power off the hook? Bobi Wine uses the stage as his bullet and has decampaigned the President on several occasions whenever he takes to the stage. So I’m not foolish to propose such advice.
Bobi Wine has not been on the stage for a couple of years now and fellow musicians have always shied away from the topic of having him back on stage.
Whereas some have always raised questions about him performing again, some feel that he wrote his own fate after joining active politics and failing to sort politics from music.
