• Former TV personality Faridah Nakazibwe has launched a 24-hour daycare center—Nanaville Baby Care—after a personal incident involving a missing maid.
  • The facility offers professional, around-the-clock care for children aged 6 months to 2 years, aiming to support working parents and provide a safe, nurturing environment.

Former NTV host Faridah Nakazibwe has decided to enter the day-care center business. In a video posted on various social media platforms, Nakazibwe mentioned that this idea came to her in 2015.

This decision was prompted by the unsettling disappearance of her housemaid. Nakazibwe recounted that on that particular day, she woke up intending to drive her children to school and go to work. However, upon checking the maid’s room, which she shared with the kids, she discovered that the maid was missing, while the children were fast asleep.

In a state of urgency, she had to rapidly find a solution within two minutes.

“I still remember this day vividly. It was 2015 when I got up to take my kids to school. Out of curiosity, I peeped into their room and was shocked to see that the maid had vanished completely. I had to devise a plan in less than two minutes by calling my workplace to inform them that I would be delayed,” she shared.

After departing from mainstream media, she has established a 24-hour day-care center that caters to children aged six months to two years.

Faridah stated that they provide an array of services aimed at promoting developmental growth and easing the stress for parents, as the child in their care is treated as if they were their own.

She encouraged all parents who work night and day shifts and lack sufficient time to care for their infants to bring them to Nanaville Baby Care Center, where they will receive exceptional care.
