Tanzanian Bongo Flava star Harmonize has threatened to take legal action against anyone who keeps mentioning his name alongside fellow Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz.

It should be noted that Harmonize started his music career under Diamond’s Wasafi Records, where the two appeared as a strong duo in East African music. Together, they released several popular songs, including Kwangwaru, and for a time were seen as mentor and protégé. However, their relationship later broke down, leading Harmonize to leave Wasafi and establish his own label, Konde Gang. Since then, the two musicians have remained on bad terms.
Speaking out angrily about people who continue to associate him with Diamond, Harmonize said he is tired of being placed under his former boss and warned that he is ready to sue anyone who does so.
He explained that he has grown as an independent artist and businessman and does not want his name used in comparisons that, in his view, undermine his progress. Harmonize stressed that he is focused on his own journey and career, not competing with anyone else.

“Do not mention my name under him. I am grown, I am my own person, and I am me versus me. Anyone who keeps doing that is playing with my career, and I will open a case,” Harmonize said.
The Single hitmaker acknowledged that Diamond played a role in introducing him to the music industry but insisted that chapter of his life is closed. He claimed he paid back what was required of him and has since invested his own money into building his label and supporting other artists.
Harmonize also accused his former boss of making empty promises during their time together, including unfulfilled music collaborations and business commitments, which he says contributed to their fallout.
“I respect the past, but that doesn’t mean I should be dragged back there every day. I don’t want my name linked to him anymore,” he added.
He concluded by saying his lawyers are aware of the situation and repeated his warning to bloggers, media personalities, and fans to stop associating him with Diamond Platnumz, saying he has moved on and expects others to do the same.
