She explained that she began selling her household items one by one, hoping to start afresh. However, despite making some money from these sales, she said she had no idea how it disappeared.
Prima also revealed that selling her car marked the beginning of her deeper financial downfall. After the sale, she traveled to Kenya and invested the proceeds into cosmetic products — a business that had previously earned her profits of UGX 10–11 million. This time, however, things went south.
“It was like the money vanished into thin air,” she said. “I couldn’t trace how it was spent.”
In a desperate attempt to stay afloat, Prima bought another car on deferred payment, but it was later confiscated when she failed to complete the installments.
At her lowest, Prima said she moved in with friends and found solace in faith.
“All I did was sleep, eat, and go to church,” she recalled. “I was always at Mutundwe Christian Fellowship. My desperation for God kept me there almost daily.”
Prima, who is an ex to singer Geosteady and media personality Mr. Henrie, revealed that all this happened just last year when she turned 30.
“Turning 30 was a wake-up call,” she said. “I finally understood the true meaning of life — the value of friends, money, and humility.”
Fortunately, her fortunes began to turn around when Kampala Cream, a real-life TV series airing on Pearl Magic, reached out and made her part of the cast — a move she says helped her rebuild her confidence and start over.
