The Kyabazinga of Busoga William Gabula Nadiope IV has with profound joy and heartfelt gratitude announced the birth of his twin sons together with the Inhebantu, Jovia Mutesi. The boys born on the 27th of August 2025 were named Prince William Ethan Nadiope and Prince Arnold Eli Nadiope.

The Kyabazinga added that both boys and their mother are in perfect health after bringing immense happiness to the royal family.
“With profound joy and heartfelt gratitude, I am delighted to formally announce the birth of our twin sons: Prince William Ethan Nadiope and Prince Arnold Eli Nadiope, born on the 27th day of August 2025.”
“The arrival of the newborns marks a deeply cherished milestone in our family’s journey, and we are overwhelmed and humbled by the magnitude of this double blessing. Both newborns, along with their remarkable mother, are in high spirits and excellent health,” wrote the Kyabazinga in X.

Furthermore, the Kyabazinga wrote that they are extremely thankful to the Almighty God for turning their family of two into four now. He also appreciated the outpouring messages of love from all the subjects and other well-wishers.
Kyabazinga William Gabula Nadiope IV ascended to the throne in September 2014 succeeding his late father Wilson Gabula Nadiope III. In 2023, he married Jovia Mutesi at Christ’s Cathedral in Bugembe in a historic wedding that marked the first royal wedding in the kingdom since 1956.

The couple’s marriage has been rocked with a few rumors of uncertainty although these were never confirmed by the kingdom officials.
The couple had made an appearance in the photographs for the public during the Kyabazinga’s recent graduation from Yale University with a Master’s degree in Advanced Studies in Global Affairs.
This huge milestone of the birth of twins is set to be celebrated throughout the kingdom and all those who are affiliated to the Basoga.
