The atmosphere shifted from excitement to heartfelt appreciation as Levixone honored Nessim with a special plaque, praising him as “one of the most true friends and honest men” he has ever known.
Levixone narrated that his bond with Nessim dates back to the days before the producer became a household name. When he still referred to himself as Leviticus, he admired Nessim’s early talent. He recalled a moment at Seeta High School where Nessim, together with a group of his friends, unexpectedly joined him on stage to perform — a spontaneous moment that marked the beginning of a long, loyal friendship.
As Nessim climbed to stardom and became one of East Africa’s top producers, he never abandoned their bond. Instead, he intentionally continued working closely with Levixone.
> “Nessim has worked with me on over 60 songs, and I have never given him a single coin. If I don’t come out to appreciate him and tell the world the kind of man he is, I would be a liar,” Levixone said, fighting back tears.
