Singer Lilian Mbabazi has opened up about how she met her ex-lover and late singer Mowzey Radio. The two were in a romantic relationship that resulted in two children, during the peak of their music careers—Lillian with Blu*3 and Radio with Goodlyfe.

Speaking in an interview with Anna Talia Ozze on Sanyuka TV, Lilian revealed that their friendship started before they became full-blown musicians. “We actually met while pursuing our studies in community psychology at Makerere University. We shared classes and spent a lot of time together,” she said.
Lilian explained that her connection with Radio grew through her Blu*3 colleague, Jackie Chandiru. “Jackie used to take me out where we would meet Radio and other friends. Slowly, our friendship grew, and that’s how we got close,” she added.
Interestingly, Lilian said that Radio also helped her improve her Luganda, which strengthened their bond. “I couldn’t articulate myself well in Luganda at first, but Radio taught me, and that’s when our relationship began to blossom,” she said.
