Socialite, media personality and business woman Mami Deb has announced a heartfelt initiative aimed at uplifting single mothers, using her talk show “Let’s Talk With MamiDeb” as a platform for real impact beyond conversation.

The show, which will air on the Play It Loud streaming platform, will see one single mother supported in every episode. According to Mami Deb, whose real name is Deborah Cleave, proceeds and resources from the program will be directed toward financing small businesses or offering practical support to single mothers struggling to make ends meet.
The initiative was officially launched on Christmas Day during Mami Deb’s charity visit to Masulita, where she interacted with several single mothers and listened to their stories firsthand. Deeply moved by their experiences, she revealed that the program is inspired by her own journey through single motherhood.
“I was a single mother, and I have started a program called Let’s Talk With Mami Deb. I want to see how I can help you by giving you capital so you can start a business. Every one of you, I’ll get you something to do,” she shared. “When God helped me and I found a man who pulled me out of single motherhood, it was a lesson from God that as He has helped me, I should do the same for others.”

Mami Deb described her commitment to helping single mothers as a personal debt she feels obliged to pay forward, with the hope that beneficiaries will one day help others facing similar challenges.
Encouraging the women, she urged them never to lose sight of their journey. “Don’t ever forget your situation because God is going to put you in a bigger place, and God doesn’t forget. Just take care of your children whether the man is available or not. Do your role, because the God who gave you those children will feed them,” she said.
