- King Saha accuses Minister Haruna Kasolo of influencing the cancellation of his Kyotera concert.
- Kasolo denies responsibility, saying only the IGP authorizes or halts events.
- The minister calls the diss songs “free publicity,” while Saha insists he is being politically targeted.
Singer King Saha and Microfinance State Minister Haruna Kasolo appear locked in an escalating public feud following the cancellation of Saha’s scheduled concert in Kyotera. The show was allegedly stopped on the minister’s orders, a claim that has since sparked a heated exchange between the two.

Saha has repeatedly accused Kasolo of sabotaging his music career, going as far as releasing a diss track titled “Kasolo Muje”, in which he likens the minister to a squirrel eating away at his “harvest.” The singer insists the concert had already been cleared and that the ban was politically motivated.
While addressing residents in his home area, Minister Kasolo expressed surprise at being the target of the musician’s attacks. He stated that he is aware of “at least six songs” released in his name but considers it “free publicity.” According to him, being selected to oversee more than 26 districts under the NRM structure is evidence of the trust the public has in his leadership.
Kasolo further clarified that he does not authorize or cancel concerts, saying such decisions lie with the Inspector General of Police (IGP)—whose signature appeared on the letter that halted Saha’s show. He argued that the singer is accusing him out of ignorance.

Meanwhile, King Saha maintains that Kasolo and his associates are targeting him for political reasons. He however vows to continue fighting for his right to perform, insisting that he received no valid justification for the cancellation.
Kasolo, however, advised the musician to seek other means of staying relevant:
“If he wants to trend, he should look for better ways—not by climbing on my name,” the minister said.
