Kampala was alive with excitement on Saturday, August 16, 2025, as more than 30 contestants were unveiled at Emin Pasha Hotel, officially setting the stage for the Miss Tourism Uganda 2025 grand finale scheduled for September 5 at Kampala Serena Hotel.

By the time gates opened at 7:00 pm, crowds of enthusiastic supporters had already lined up, eager to cheer for their regional representatives. The contestants made their runway debut with confidence, creating an evening filled with elegance, fashion, and cultural pride.
Running under the theme “I Am My Culture,” this year’s edition emphasizes cultural preservation, sustainable tourism, and youth participation. Organizers stressed that Miss Tourism Uganda is more than a beauty contest, describing it as a platform for advocacy and transformation in social, economic, and environmental spheres.
“We are proud to host the 13th edition of Miss Tourism Uganda, and I can assure you that the grand finale will be bigger and better than ever,” said Loice Namara Kalamuka, the pageant’s Administrator. She applauded sponsors, parents, and partners for their unwavering support while urging the public to cast their votes for their favorite contestants.

Since its launch in 2013, Miss Tourism Uganda has become a flagship platform for promoting domestic tourism, winning awards for its impact while grooming future leaders and cultural ambassadors. With the inclusion of men this year, organizers believe the pageant is taking a bold step forward.
