The newly crowned Miss Uganda, Muhoza Trivia Elle has expressed gratitude and surprise after she was declared winner of the beauty pageant at the Grand finale held at the Kampala Sheraton Hotel.
Speaking to the press after the win, she said that she had nothing but praise for the fans who supported her throughout the entire pageant. Muhoza also thanked God saying that she wouldn’t be where she is now if it wasn’t for his Grace.
Questioned about what she plans to do for the people since she’s now the beauty queen, Muhoza said that she doesn’t want to make empty promises. She will first get on ground and work so that people can appreciate actions rather than words.
“I’m really excited and grateful to all those who voted for me. It’s an honor and privilege I can’t take for granted. I was really surprised to be named the winner so I also want to thank God because I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for Him. On what I’ll do, people will just see the results rather than making empty promises,” she said.

Her remarks come amidst the bitterness from some of her fellow competitors and some social media rumor mongers who have been criticizing her selection.
These have been claiming how she knew before hand that she would win with claims of bribery. However, she’s put the allegations to bed signalling that she didn’t know that she was going to win.
