Nigeria has an official new power celebrity couple after Afrobeats star Oluwatosin “Mr Eazi” Ajibade and actress Temi Otedola crowned their love story with a three-part wedding celebration that stretched across the world. This happened in Monaco, Dubai, and Iceland in 2025.

It should be noted that the couple first met in London in 2017 and then got engaged in Venice as Mr Eazi filmed the music video for his song, ‘Legalize’ in 2022. They opted for a unique wedding journey after three years of engagement. This choice reflected both their personalities and cultural heritage.

The first stop was Monaco on May 9—a meaningful date marking Mr Eazi’s late mother’s birthday. Temi wore a custom Wiederhoeft suit, whereas the Leg Over singer chose a Louis Vuitton for their intimate civil ceremony.

“We’ve been engaged for three years and together for eight, so we had this weirdly calm energy all day. It just made sense,” Temi shared.

Dubai hosted their Yoruba traditional wedding at the Otedola family home two months later. For this wedding, Temi wore four striking outfits from Zac Posen, Miss Sohee, Lisa Folawiyo, and Oscar de la Renta. Posen described his design as “something that felt almost like Nefertiti.”

Eazi in the other hand dressed in a Folawiyo Studio creation and even joined the celebrations with drummers and dancers. The evening reception, attended by hundreds of guests, featured lantern-lit tents, Nigerian cuisine, and performances by music legends including King Sunny Adé.

“My whole vision was to create a setting that transported you to Lagos for the night,” Temi said.

Finally, the grand finale wedding came in Iceland which the couple described as their “favorite place on earth.” Temi walked down the aisle at Reykjavik’s Hallgrimskirkja church in a Fendi Haute Couture gown, while Eazi wore Saint Laurent. Their reception in a glass tent amid Icelandic fields combined volcanic stone, moss, and waterfalls for a dramatic yet relaxed feel. To Temi’s surprise, John Legend performed live.

While speaking about the the whirlwind celebrations, Temi said: “Eazi and I have always been unconventional. All throughout we honored our rich culture but made sure everything felt like us.”
