- Mun G revealed his Serena Hotel concert sold out with 12,000 fans but left him in debt.
- He blamed high production costs and lack of strong sponsorship for the financial loss.
- The rapper bragged about performing 3 hours nonstop, saying only Chameleone and the late Mowzey Radio could match his hit catalog.
Rapper Mun G has claimed how he didn’t profit from his recently concluded ‘The Champions Ball’ concert that happened at the Kampala Serena Hotel. The rapper had a fully packed house with thousands of people thronging the venue to have a good time.

According to the ‘Namalayo’ rapper, he had planned to host about 10,000 people but got 12,000 instead. He challenged those who think it’s a lie to check out the numbers because they’re official.
Instead of smiling to the bank the following day, the former Baboon Forest protege revealed that he was left with debts to clear. He stated that he got a few sponsors who were the ones supposed to give him profits. Much of the finances went into clearing production and the venue.
“The concert left me in debts because although it sold out, I didn’t get any profit. The show was a success because I had planned for 10,000 people but instead got 12,000. So those who are disputing it can check the facts. Much of the money went into production because Serena is very expensive. Additionally, I didn’t get as much sponsors because they were the ones supposed to give me money but nowadays they just buy tables,” he said.
