The President of the Common Man’s Party, Hon. Mubarak Munyagwa, has boldly declared that he will become Uganda’s 10th President.

Appearing on Radio 4, Munyagwa stated that “by all means” he will be declared the next head of state.

When asked how he plans to achieve this given the current political landscape, the former Kawempe South MP said he has plans A, B, and C to unseat President Yoweri Museveni and defeat other contenders, including NUP’s Bobi Wine.

However, Munyagwa declined to reveal the details of his strategies, humorously remarking that he is “not a civilian anymore.”

“I’m the 10th President of Uganda come next year. I have plans A, B, and C to take power, but I won’t reveal them because I’m not stupid. Governments leave power in different ways, but for now, an election is what’s available,” he said.

He further noted that governments can be changed in several ways, though for now, he intends to use the ballot as his main approach.

With campaigns already a month underway and two and a half months remaining, Munyagwa will need to make the most of the remaining time if he hopes to test and execute his plans to capture state power.
