  • Ndausi has since reduced his alcohol intake and no longer drinks the way he did during his heydays.

Veteran media personality Omulangira Ndausi has shared a glimpse into his prime drinking days. Despite making a name for himself as one of the most entertaining figures in the media industry, Ndausi also had a reputation for heavy drinking.

Speaking on a podcast, he recounted how he would often go on drinking sprees with some of his juniors in the media industry, notably Kasuku and Symo Omunene. “I was a king when it came to drinking,” Ndausi confessed. “We would leave bars on Monday mornings if we had started the weekend with a spree and go straight to work. I always made sure I was sober enough to handle the day better than anyone else.”

He revealed that he would start with waragi alone before moving on to nearly 45 bottles of Guinness. Ndausi explained that he would first help his drinking partners with their personal problems, such as rent or transport, before indulging. “Sometimes I would get so drunk that I’d chase my friends out of my car. I was the sponsor, and they had no choice but to follow my orders,” he said.

Today, Omulangira Ndausi has significantly toned down his drinking and no longer consumes alcohol the way he did during his heydays.
