Singer Pius Mayanja (Pallaso) has pledged his full support and loyalty to presidential aspirant, Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine and his party, the National Unity Platform. This is ahead of the presidential campaigns that have kicked off today.
Pallaso made an appearance at Bobi Wine’s office as the NUP leader welcomed him with a warm embrace. The two then went ahead to share a light hearted chat before the self styled King of the East informed Bobi of his decision to rally behind him.
Pallaso said that he’s glad to be part of something historic and added that this is not just Bobi Wine’s struggle but for all the marginalized Ugandans.
“I’m really happy to be a part of this history in the making. This is our country and we need to fight to salvage it from the ineffective rule. So you as my president and NUP as my party have my full support all the way,” he said.

Bobi Wine on the other hand thanked Pallaso for passing by and becoming part of the struggle. He appreciated the Malamu singer for knowing that this is not just his struggle but for all Ugandans.
He added that there’s still a job to persuade the other entertainers who are yet to embrace the struggle. The self styled ghetto gladiator then said that as musicians, they have a very huge and influential voice. He ended by once again thanking Pallaso for not being blinded by the luxuries of a big musician but rather caring about the plight of Ugandans.
It should be noted that Pallaso’s other brothers, Dr. Jose Chameleone and Weasel Manizo have identified their side in this ongoing presidential race as NRM. The two have previously supported Bobi Wine but later on decided to side with the NRM.
