• State Minister for Energy and Mineral Development, Hon. Phiona Nyamutoro, recently visited Seeta Parents School after a viral video of young pupil Josephine Nabadda expressing admiration for her circulated online.
  • The hopeful Nebbi Woman MP was warmly welcomed by students and staff, engaging them in an interactive Q&A session.
  • Nabadda had a special moment to once again express her respect and affection for the youthful leader.

If there is a leader who is currently one of the youth favorites, it’s none other than the State Minister for Energy and Mineral Development, Hon Phiona Nyamutoro, and this is due to various reasons, particularly her political and social lifestyle. It’s not surprising that she is gradually becoming a cult figure for young students, especially girls.

The hopeful Nebbi District Woman MP visited Seeta Parents this week following a viral video of a young girl, Josephine Nabadda, who expressed her admiration for the Minister last month.

This young girl said that the Youth MP motivates her to improve, be confident, and cultivate herself, all because of the presence and charm she exudes.

Upon learning about the video, Nyamutoro made the school visit where she received a warm welcome from the students and the staff.

She took time to engage with the young pupils through a Q&A session, enjoying positive interactions. Nabadda had another opportunity to speak to Nyamutoro and express her affection and respect for her.

When the pupils inquired about her favorite musician, with a beaming smile and laughter, she mentioned her husband Eddy Kenzo, adding that all his songs are her favorites.

In a post on social media, the articulate Minister stated, “Our leadership would never count if we can’t influence and inspire the next generation.” Thus, as leaders, it is their duty to instill confidence, vibrancy, self-expression, and an insatiable drive in these young individuals that will enable them to excel in whatever they aspire to achieve.

Hon. Nyamutoro expressed her hope that many other young individuals like Josephine would be inspired from afar and achieve greater success than their role models. The Minister undoubtedly finds herself in favorable regard among both the critics and supporters of the regime.

Today in the morning I took out time to Seeta Parents School and paid a surprise visit to a young girl called Josephine Nabadda that has drawn inspiration from my leadership. Our leadership would never count if we can’t influence and inspire the next generation. In our young people we must instill confidence vibrancy, self expression and an unquenched hunger to always stand out in whatever they’re to do or want to become. I pray that just like Josephine, many other young people that get inspired from a distance get to blossom into much more success than we ever get to achieve! Thank you Seeta Parents for the great hospitality.
