Veteran singer Red Banton has revealed that the late singer Mowzey Radio often appears to him in dreams, asking that his final funeral rites be conducted. It has been seven years since the talented Goodlyf star passed away, yet, according to his music partner Weasel, the traditional ceremony has never been performed.

Speaking in an interview, Red Banton said Radio has visited him several times, urging him to remind those responsible to organize the event.
“The truth is, Radio always appears to me in dreams, especially about his last funeral rites,” Banton shared. “Recently, he told me he’s happy where he is but wants the ceremony carried out. He was wearing the same army boots he loved so much.”
The Nonya Money singer added that one time, while stranded in Makindye looking for transport to the lake, Radio appeared to him in a sleeveless shirt, driving a GMC, and offered him a lift.

According to Banton, Radio even gave him a new song in one of the dreams — a song he plans to release once it’s complete. He also sent a message to Lillian Mbabazi, Radio’s partner and a member of the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF), urging her to take the lead in organizing the ceremony.
“Therefore I’m urging his widow Lillian Mbabazi to do something about it since she’s on the UNMF committee,” Banton said. “This ceremony needs to be organized.”
