• Ritah says Sheebah is now far ahead of Cindy and the fact “can’t be reversed.”
  • Claims she once worked with Cindy and found her a good person, but doesn’t understand the recent hostility.
  • Maintains that Sheebah believed in her early career and their camp is progressing positively.

Popular dancer and now upcoming singer Ritah Danchall has come out to advise seasoned star Cindy Sanyu to accept that Sheebah Karungi has already surpassed her and is no longer in her league. Ritah says she is confused by Cindy’s recent attitude, especially because the Cindy she once worked with was kind and supportive.

According to Ritah, her personal experience with Cindy was positive.

“Cindy doesn’t have a problem. She’s a good person because I once worked with her at her Lugogo concert. She was among the first big artists I worked with. I don’t know why she’s now attacking and disrespecting my boss,” she said.

Ritah added that people need to understand that life is not equal and growth can take different paths.

“You might train me, groom me, and then I surpass you. That’s how God plans things. If you wished me well from the start, clap for me when I rise. Sheebah surpassed Cindy and that’s a fact that can’t be taken back. Cindy is a great singer, performer and legend, but she’s nowhere near Sheebah’s level now. She should stomach it.”

Her comments come after Cindy recently dismissed the idea of another battle with Sheebah, saying she doesn’t want to “embarrass her for the second time.” Ritah fired back, asking who exactly Cindy expects to embarrass.

“Let’s even put the battle aside. Look at what we’ve achieved. We’re releasing music and everything is moving positively for our camp,” Ritah said.

The rivalry between Cindy and Sheebah seems far from ending. Meanwhile, Ritah — who recently launched her own music career — credits Sheebah for being one of the first people to believe in her talent.
