Shakib Lutaaya challenges Kenyan celebrities to boxing match after losing to Rickman

Socialite Shakib Lutaaya has challenged any Kenyan celebrity out there to the ring. During a recent Kenyan podcast, the husband to socialite Zari Hassan said that he wants any celebrity that’s good at boxing to take him on.

Among the names that were mentioned on the podcast include rapper Khaligraph Jones, Willy Paul among others. According to Shakib, he’s very a good fighter but prefers to box with those in the media because it creates a lot of buzz in the media and public.

He likened himself to American YouTuber turned boxer Jake Paul and South African singer, Casper Nyovest. Therefore this is what he wants to do in East Africa.

“I’m a very good fighter but I only want to fight those in the limelight because it creates a lot of buzz. So if there are any celebrities here willing to take me on in a boxing match, I’m up for it. What I’m doing is what the likes of Casper Nyovest is doing in South Africa,” said Shakib.

This comes at the back of his defeat to Ugandan singer Rickman Rick in their much anticipated fight in Lugogo.

Rickman floored Shakib in front of his wife Zari after he had said a lot about knocking out the Hangover singer before the 5th round.

There’s even talk that Zari has asked him to stop fighting in these matches. This is after she seemed uncomfortable whenever Rickman punched him.
