- Shakib Cham Lutaaya, husband to socialite Zari Hassan, has openly cautioned his friends against trying to befriend his wife, saying it’s a complete deal breaker in their relationship.
- During a Q&A session, Shakib highlighted the importance of boundaries in marriage, revealed his views on polygamy, and admitted to occasionally clashing with Zari over her past ties with Diamond Platnumz.
Shakib Cham Lutaaya is fiercely protective of his wife, Zari Hassan, especially against friends. In a quick-fire Q&A session, Shakib stressed the necessity of setting boundaries regarding his wife.

He expressed that he has no interest in his friends attempting to befriend his wife, as this would be an immediate deal breaker and could lead him to sever ties with them.
Similarly, he stated that he has no business being buddies with his wife’s friends.
“A major turn off for me is when my friends try to befriend my wife. I absolutely dislike that, and they should recognize where the boundaries lie. Likewise, I find no purpose in forging friendships with my wife’s acquaintances. I can say hi, hello to them and nothing more.”

Having waited for almost a lifetime to marry Zari, it’s easy to see why he wouldn’t allow anything to jeopardize his house. Shakib has previously had public disagreements with Zari regarding her ex and baby daddy, Diamond Platnumz, especially due to their close relationship, which made him uncomfortable.

However, he mentioned that in his situation, he is happily married and doesn’t consider pursuing another partner. Shakib also stated that he is now living the life he always dreamed of as a boy from modest beginnings.
The father of one also acknowledged his father as his inspiration, describing him as a brilliant individual with a great sense of style.
During this Q&A, Shakib also admitted to deceiving Zari last month by claiming he was home resting when in reality he was out clubbing. He will be hoping this doesn’t lead to any trouble with his South Africa based wife.
