• Softcare recently launched its #ThankYouSuperMum initiative at Kawempe Regional Referral Hospital, hosting two impactful sessions focused on honoring healthcare workers and supporting new mothers.
  • The campaign featured diaper donations, maternal health education, and heartfelt engagement, all aimed at uplifting mothers and reinforcing Softcare’s commitment to community wellness.

At Softcare, we believe that every mother deserves recognition, support, and care. That’s why we launched our #ThankYouSuperMum initiative—a campaign dedicated to appreciating and empowering mothers in our communities.

Recently, we had the privilege of hosting two impactful sessions at Kawempe Regional Referral Hospital, where we engaged with both hospital staff and new mothers, offering support, education, and essential baby care products.

Phase One: Partnering with healthcare heroes
Our first session brought together the hospital’s dedicated staff, including the Hospital Executive Director, to discuss a long-term partnership aimed at improving maternal and child health in Kawempe.

We also took the opportunity to honor the nurses—many of whom are mothers themselves—for their tireless work. To show our gratitude, we distributed Softcare baby diapers, emphasizing how much their efforts mean to families every day.

“Mothers supporting mothers is what makes communities stronger. We’re proud to stand with the healthcare workers who make a difference.”

Phase Two: Empowering new mothers with knowledge & support
In our second session, we met with new and expecting mothers at the hospital, providing them with practical guidance on diaper usage and newborn care. Our Head of Customer Relations, Sarah Nabatanzi, led an interactive discussion, answering questions and demonstrating best practices for diaper comfort and safety.

As a token of appreciation, each mother received Softcare baby diapers to help ease their journey in those precious early months.

“Seeing the smiles on these mothers’ faces reminded us why we do what we do—every supermum deserves support and recognition.”

The #ThankYouSuperMum initiative is just the beginning. Softcare remains committed to uplifting mothers, promoting maternal health, and fostering partnerships that make a real difference.

We extend our deepest gratitude to Kawempe Regional Referral Hospital for collaborating with us and to all the incredible mothers and healthcare workers who inspire us daily.

Stay tuned for more initiatives as we continue to celebrate and support supermums everywhere!
