• Deejay Nimrod has voiced strong criticism against Bobi Wine’s new political track ‘Not Your Enemy,’ featuring King Saha and Nubian Li.
  • He also suggests that King Saha’s recent solo success means he doesn’t need collaborative tracks to appeal to listeners.

The politically charged track, which dropped on April 23rd, is currently #3 on Uganda’s YouTube trending list for music with over 142,000 views in just two days. Despite its success, Nimrod argues the song’s sound is outdated.

“Bobi Wine should stick to politics and leave music alone before it leaves him,” said Nimrod, pointing fingers at producer Paddy Man for delivering what he calls an “old sound.”

He added, “You can’t go to Paddy Man now if you want a hit—let him remain a legend.”

Nimrod also questioned the collaboration with King Saha, who currently has two major solo hits, Nakyakala and TikTok Live. “Saha is doing great alone. Collaborating on a song that doesn’t hit can dilute his impact,” he said.

Bobi Wine, however, described Not Your Enemy as “more than just music—it’s a message,” continuing his tradition of revolutionary music produced by Sir Dan Magic and Paddy Man.
