Socialite and fashion entrepreneur Katrina Nilzero, born Sumaya Kayondo, has finally spoken out about long-running rumors suggesting there is bad blood between her and media personality Sheilah Gashumba.

For years, social media gossip has linked the supposed fallout to Ugandan singer Rickman Manrick, with claims that tension between the two women still exists. However, Katrina has firmly dismissed those narratives, saying the public read too much into a friendship that simply ran its course.

Speaking during a recent media interview, Katrina explained that there is no feud and no hidden drama between her and Sheilah. According to her, the idea that every friendship must end with a fight is misguided.

She stressed that whenever they cross paths, nothing awkward or hostile happens, noting that maturity has helped her understand that people change as life moves on.

 “I honestly do not have an issue with her at all. If I see her anywhere, nothing happens. There is no tension, no drama.”

Katrina acknowledged that they were once close, but emphasized that growing apart does not automatically mean enemies. She added that life responsibilities, career focus, and personal growth naturally create distance.

“People outgrow each other, and that is normal. I have never argued with her, and I have never wished her anything bad. We are both okay.”

She further noted that it has been years since they last had a meaningful conversation, largely because both are busy building their own lives. Katrina pointed out that she is focused on her modeling career and personal investments, while Sheilah continues to thrive in her media and business ventures.

Addressing rumors that Rickman caused tension, Katrina laughed them off, making it clear there was never anything romantic between them.

 “Rickman is like my brother. I respect him a lot. I do not date men my age — I date older. Anyone who knows me knows that.”

She concluded by urging the public to stop relying on speculation and instead listen to facts directly from those involved, maintaining that there has never been bad blood between her and Sheilah.
