• Bebe Cool has firmly stated that he cannot and will not collaborate with fellow musician-turned-politician Bobi Wine, citing deep-rooted political and personal differences.
  • Though the two artists once shared a friendship and even collaborated musically—most notably on a track unofficially referred to as Futula—their relationship has deteriorated significantly over the years.

Big Size Bebe Cool has shared his perspective on why he cannot collaborate with fellow artist and politician Bobi Wine. The two singers have a history of rivalry that has spanned several years.

Bobi Wine, Bebe Cool

This feud, which evolved from musical differences to political discord, appears to be the main reason for their inability to work together. In an interview with Galaxy TV, Bebe Cool was questioned about this potential collaboration and responded that he cannot partner with the self-proclaimed ghetto gladiator because his politics have clouded his judgment, leading him to create unnecessary adversaries.

“Bobi Wine and I can only work together if he removes his political blinders and understands that politics shouldn’t compel him to generate needless enemies, but for now, such a collaboration is not feasible,” Bebe remarked.

At one time, the two artists were friends and even released a song together, which was somewhat referred to as Futula. However, over the years, their relationship soured and this deterioration extended to their families and fans.

Reflecting on their past friendship, Bebe Cool, who is presently on a national media tour to promote his recently launched Break The Chains Album, mentioned that their bond was not particularly special. It was simply an ordinary friendship marked by immature vibes.

Eventually, he came to the conclusion that Bobi Wine’s personality did not affect him, leading to the end of their relationship.

According to Bebe Cool, the differences in their upbringings made their behaviors incompatible, which prompted him to call it quits.
