- Shakib Lutaaya challenged Kenyan celebrities to a boxing match, stirring mixed reactions.
- Willy Paul declined, citing Zari’s admiration for Shakib, while also shading Diamond Platnumz.
- Arrow Bwoy accepted the challenge, confidently inviting Shakib to face him in the ring.
It appears that Shakib Lutaaya’s declaration of wanting to fight any Kenyan individual in the public eye has been received in both positive and negative ways. A clip of Shakib challenging any Kenyan celebrity surfaced online, prompting several of them to respond.

One of those who replied is singer Willy Paul, whom Shakib specifically named as a potential opponent. Willy Paul stated that he would not engage in a fight with Shakib for a significant reason: his wife Zari is a huge admirer of Shakib, and he wouldn’t want her to be upset watching her husband get beaten.
He went on to say that he has a fondness for Shakib and his family but also took the chance to critique Tanzanian artist, Diamond Platnumz. According to the ‘Njiwa’ singer, he does not have a liking for the Wasafi Records leader who refers to himself as Lion (Simba).
“I noticed Shakib’s request, but I won’t fulfill it for one main reason: his wife is a huge fan of mine. While Shakib and his family are friends of mine, there is one individual in his family that I don’t care for, the one who calls himself Lion. I have reduced the lion to a rat. So, Shakib, I’m not going to conflict with you,” Willy Paul stated.

Luckily for Shakib, another Kenyan artist, Arrow Bwoy, accepted the challenge. In a somewhat derisive manner, Arrow Bwoy declared his readiness for the fight and invited Shakib to come and face the consequences. He also urged him to ensure that she is present as he sends her partner to the brink.
It remains uncertain whether Shakib will accept his challenge, which was made prior to his defeat by Rickman, or if he will decide against participating in the fights.
