Zari says she’s working for heaven after achieving all earthly desires

South African–based Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan has revealed that she has accomplished nearly everything she ever dreamed of in life. Speaking in a video, Zari expressed deep gratitude for the blessings she enjoys, including a loving husband, a supportive family, good children, and a fulfilling life.

“I have everything I ever prayed for. Now my biggest goal is to work on my spiritual journey and prepare for Jana,” she said.

Zari shared that she is now committed to strengthening her Islamic faith, noting that she is consistently praying five times a day and observing all the customs of the religion.

According to Zari, this new chapter of spiritual dedication is her priority after attaining the material and personal goals she once pursued.

Her declaration has stirred mixed reactions online, especially given her earlier lifestyle marked by glamour, extravagance, and public attention.

Zari was among the pioneers of Uganda’s socialite culture alongside her late ex-husband, Ivan Semwanga. She later married Tanzanian bongo flava superstar Diamond Platnumz before settling with her current husband, Shakib Cham Lutaaya.

Despite her widely publicized past, Zari now says her focus is purely spiritual: after achieving everything she desired, it is time to “look for God” and invest in her journey of faith.
