Dancehall singer Ziza Bafana has taken a swipe at struggling Masaka businessman Emmanuel Lwasa, poking fun at his financial troubles. In an interview with Spark TV, the Pomini singer claimed that Lwasa’s current difficulties are only the beginning of his downfall.

Bafana said, “The trouble he is facing now is nothing new; it’s the result of the deeds he has done in the past catching up with him.” He added that Lwasa has been engaging in shameless acts, including relationships with girls fit to be his daughters, and accused him of stealing people’s money while flaunting wealth. The self styled katonda wa ragga also advised Lwasa to go into exile.
It should be noted that Lwasa is currently facing serious financial strain. His popular nightspot, Club Tavern Kick in Masaka, was recently put up for sale after Equity Bank confiscated the building, claiming he owes over half a billion shillings. Bafana also criticized Lwasa for allegedly colluding with President Museveni instead of supporting the oppressed, describing his struggles as “a sweet joy.”
The tension between the two is personal as well. Both Bafana and Lwasa were romantically linked to the same woman, Vanessa, who is Bafana’s ex and baby mama. Vanessa was once engaged to Lwasa, but the wedding was called off.

In a lighter segment of the interview, Bafana shared his pride in his son’s recent achievements. After his son, in Primary Five, decided to sit for the PLE exams, Bafana gifted him an iPhone and other presents to motivate him. He praised his son for being intelligent and a promising musician, saying he already knows music production and is likely to surpass him in the future.
