• Alien Skin says old feelings about government musicians made him uncomfortable performing on NRM rallies.
  • Claims some party members and musicians accused him of potentially causing chaos on campaign trails.
  • His withdrawal comes after he openly performed on several NRM activities following his fallout with NUP supporters.

Musician Alien Skin has finally revealed why he stopped performing on the NRM campaign rallies. It should be remembered that the Fangone Forest boss joined the campaign trail later than most entertainers and performed in several districts before suddenly going silent for weeks.

In a live TikTok interview, the Sitya Danger singer explained that his decision was driven by personal conviction and internal tensions within the ruling party’s campaign team. According to Alien Skin, before he became a singer, he used to feel a certain way about musicians who performed for the government, often believing they were “feasting on taxpayers’ money.”

He said those same feelings resurfaced when he thought about the peers he had left behind in the ghetto and how they might perceive his involvement.

“I started thinking about my boys in the ghetto and how I used to view musicians who perform for government. Those feelings came back, so I stepped back,” Alien Skin said.

The singer added that some musicians and individuals within the party led by President Yoweri Museveni allegedly elbowed him out, claiming he would cause chaos on campaign trails. Feeling unwanted and misunderstood, he chose to completely withdraw from the performance lineup.

Alien Skin has recently been associated with the NRM after falling out with NUP foot soldiers and the party’s president, Bobi Wine. His participation in earlier campaign activities had cemented this perception, but his sudden exit has raised new conversation in the entertainment and political circles.
