• Zambaali Bulasio Mukasa, NUP’s flag bearer for Nansana Municipality, promises people-centered leadership.
  • He plans to create a strong coordination chain from councillors to MPs for effective service delivery.
  • Zambaali vows to stay active on the ground and engage directly with Nansana residents.

The National Unity Platform (NUP) flag bearer for the Nansana Municipality parliamentary seat, Zambaali Bulasio Mukasa, has revealed the type of leadership he wants to bring to the area once elected to the legislature.

Appearing on Frank Ntambi’s podcast, Zambaali emphasised that he wants to create a chain of leadership from top to bottom.

“Leadership is a chain — every leader from the mayor to councillors must work hand in hand for real service delivery,” he said.

The former NBS TV journalist explained that this is why it’s crucial for voters to elect NUP candidates at all levels, as it would simplify the chain of command and strengthen coordination.

Furthermore, Zambaali added that he wants to remain actively on the ground, not just in Parliament.

“People want to see you not just in Parliament making laws, but on the ground, working alongside them,” he said.

He believes that with this chain of leadership, he will effectively serve the people of Nansana once elected to the August House.
