- During a rapid-fire segment on Crysto Panda’s show, Swangz Avenue singer Winnie Nwagi was asked to name her top five favorite Ugandan female musicians.
- While she confidently picked Sheebah Karungi as her number one, she struggled to finalize the rest, eventually naming Lydia Jazmine, Karole Kasita, Ava Peace, and Gloria Bugie.
Swangz Avenue artist Winnie Nwagi faced a challenge during a rapid-fire segment with fellow singer and influencer, Crysto Panda, where she had to list her top 5 favorite female Ugandan musicians. With so many talented female singers around, Nwagi found this question to be quite difficult, especially since she had to rank them.

Without any delay, she identified Sheebah Karungi as her top choice. After that, she struggled to select the next four, hesitating as she spoke.
The Musawo artist felt it was necessary to clarify her subsequent choices to avoid hurting anyone’s feelings. After some further contemplation, she named Lydia Jazmine, Karole Kasita, Ava Peace, and Gloria Bugie as her remaining picks.
Nwagi mentioned, however, that she enjoys listening to many other female singers. Given the rapid-fire nature of the question, she likely overlooked some of her favorites.

“I’m choosing Sheebah as my top artist. Though this question is challenging, especially with the need to rank them, I’ll go with Lydia Jazmine, Karole Kasita, and Ava Peace. Plus, I also like Gloria Bugie. However, I hope no one takes offense at this ranking because I have numerous female artists I admire and enjoy,” she explained.
Nonetheless, some users on social media were surprised that she left out her label mates, Azawi, Vinka, and Zafaran. But considering it was a quick-fire session, she shouldn’t be at fault, and it’s possible she chose not to mention them since they’re clearly her close friends.
