Musician Patrick Mulwana, popularly known as Alien Skin, has described himself as a “national experiment” — a person on whom everyone can try out whatever they want.

The Fangone Forest boss made the remarks during an interview with Sanyuka TV’s Hellen Menta on Uncut, when asked how he handles the constant wave of criticism directed at him.
Without hesitation, Alien Skin said that he exists for people to experiment with their frustrations and burdens. According to him, once they get their results, they move on — and that process helps others learn resilience through his experiences.
The singer also opened up about his role in promoting female artist Sandra Naks, with whom he has collaborated on two hit songs, Kapati and Nepanka. He explained that helping Sandra is part of what he means by being a “national experiment,” adding that he “tested” his influence by giving her a platform to grow.

“I’m a national experiment for everyone to try out whatever is burdening them. That’s why those who want to rise all climb on me — because I have the voltage to jump-start their lives. I’m actually glad that people can learn perseverance by looking up to me,” he bragged.
Alien Skin also defended his self-proclaimed title of “legendary.” He said that many people wrongly assume that a legend must be old, insisting that most so-called legends in Uganda today are simply “old men out.”
The Makindye-based star further discussed his relationships with fellow artists Daxx Kartel and Aziz Azion, with whom he has collaborated before. He clarified that there is no bad blood between them, noting that politics has occasionally slowed down their projects but never caused any fallout.
Additionally, Alien Skin addressed the recent controversy involving his bodyguard Ibrah Kabadiya, who apologized to Dr. Jose Chameleone after a public feud. The Party hitmaker said he never instructed Kabadiya to attack Chameleone and that it was his bodyguard’s responsibility to make amends for his own actions.
