- Zambian gospel artist Pompi praises Ugandans for their extraordinary support, revealing that his Ugandan concert drew around 10,000 fans who sang his lyrics flawlessly.
- He noted the contrast with his homeland, Zambia, and attributed his success to both musical quality and divine favour.
Zambian gospel artist Pompi has praised Ugandans for the overwhelming support they have shown him, even more than his compatriots. Just like the biblical saying that a prophet is better recognised in distant lands than in his own, it seems to apply to Pompi.

The musician mentioned that his Pole Pole Sana concert in Uganda attracted around 10,000 attendees. While the same performance in Zambia drew thousands, it couldn’t compare to the large audience in Uganda.
He expressed his astonishment at how Ugandans sang his songs perfectly, even without understanding the lyrics.
“If I were to share the figures from Uganda, they would far surpass what I’ve experienced in my own country. For example, during my Pole Sana concert there, around 10,000 people attended. The concert here had thousands, but they still couldn’t match the number in Uganda. It amazed me how Ugandans sang every word, despite not grasping the meaning,” he stated.
